Onze doelstellingen
Onze prioritaire doelstellingen zijn :
1. De promotie en de ontwikkeling van de begrippen ecologische integriteit en rewilding in het bosbeheer bij professionelen, instellingen en het grote publiek door het het innemen van standpunten over actuele kwesties en het organiseren van vormingen en excursies.
2. De bescherming en actieve verdediging van gebieden met een hoge natuurlijkheidsgraad in België en wereldwijd en het creëren van grote wildernisgebieden, zodat de ecologische integriteit zich vrij kan uitdrukken.
3. De deelname aan de verdediging van natuurlijke bossen overal ter wereld door de mensen de rijkdom van deze gebieden te laten ontdekken en door de acties van plaatselijke verenigingen die deze bossen verdedigen, te ondersteunen.
Wij brengen ze in de praktijk door middel van verschillende activiteiten
Lezingen en film debatten
Wij bieden een reeks lezingen en films debatten aan over onderwerpen die verband houden met bos ecosystemen, ecologie en wilde natuur.
Excursies
Er worden regelmatig thematische uitstappen georganiseerd, zowel in België als in het buitenland, georganiseerd door de vzw of door onze partners.
Vormingen
Wij organiseren gerichte vormingscursussen over de werking van bosecosystemen, rewilding praktijken, de evaluatie van criteria rond natuurlijkheid en de identificatie en het doorgronden van ecologische processen in natuurlijke bossen.
Onderzoeksdossiers
Wij stellen u een reeks opinieartikelen, rapporten en videoreportages voor over thematieken in verband met ecologisch bosbeheer.
